American Oak Stix - Balanced Toast

American Oak Stix utilize a small flat surface which results in less astringency, giving you a more mellow and smoother character to your beer, wine or spirits.  These American Oak Stix also feature a balanced toast which can give you a more uniformed taste without being too overpowering.  The style of these stix makes them easier to work with so that you can do your own charring on them if you want, which is what some people will do when making whisky.  These provide the closest character to aging in an oak barrel, without the expense of a barrel.
