1500W Band Heater
If you haven't used a band heater before, you should know that these are a more efficient heat source than your standard hot plate. Another benefit is that they heat the sides of the kettle, instead of the bottom. Why does that matter? Because particles settle in the bottom and the last thing you want to do is heat those up and possibly scorch them into your distillate. On top of the fact that band heaters do not care how heavy a kettle is. Hot plates often have a weight restriction that can add limitations.
These band heaters are made from Stainless Steel and are custom made to fit around the 8 and 15 gallon premium kettles.
